LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION...

The Pure Fashion Show!

On April 18th, I had the great honor of being the emcee for the Pure Fashion Show at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort where over 200 people witnessed this fashion event which included powerful testimonies from several of the 22 high school teenagers who participated.  The youth displayed attractive and modest outfits from Dillards and their own closets as they walked the runway in elegance  and beauty.  It was apparent that their beauty radiated from the inside out!

Bourgade Students Hear

 About Sexual Integrity

The TRUTH about God's Plan for our sexuality was expressed to over 400 Bourgade High School Students on April 22nd.  The students were also informed about the negative effects of pre-marital sex and contraception.  Young Adults Brooke Burns and Daniel Tansill shadowed me in order to receive speaker training to pursue their great desire of sharing the Truth about sexual integrity with teenagers.

St. Thomas 8th Grade Girls

Learn About their Dignity

On April 22nd, St Thomas the Apostle School held their Tru2U 8th Grade Retreat.  60-- 8th grade girls and their parents were reminded about their unrepeatable and irreplaceable dignity and worth.  I shared with the attendees that the greatest designer of all times created them in His image and likeness and is inviting them to accept the great invitations to live as the daughters of the almighty King, God Himself.

St. Thomas 8th Grade Boys

Empowered by Eric Porteous

FFLAL Speaker, Eric Porteous led the St. Thomas the Apostle 8th grade boys in two sessions.  The first session was called“Authentic Holiness: A Heroic Calling.” The youth were challenged to practice chastity, uphold the dignity of the body and women, and live lives of Heroic Virtue.  The second session was called, “A Personal Relationship With Jesus Christ” where Eric inspired the boys and their parents to strive for an intimate and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

St. Mary's High School Girls

Hear of God's Mercy

On May 11th, I was privileged to share an entire day with 100 St. Mary's High School senior girls. From the moment the morning began, I knew God had something very special in store for us. I was asked to speak with the girls on the meaning of dignity, specifically as a young woman, along with my journey of discovering my own worth intertwined with the mercy of God.

The Holy Spirit opened the hearts of the young women while I witnessed some eyes welling up with tears of hope as I reminded them that God has a unique and special plan for each of them; all He needs is their "Yes." Afterwards, I was truly humbled by the immensely positive response, as girl after girl shared with me their story, their struggles, and their dreams. I realized like never before, that truly the evil one is after our young people with a vengeance. As I saw how thirsty these precious souls were of hearing and believing that there is another way of living, that all hope is not lost and that God loves them, I was convicted that the victory is God's.

Needless to say, the mission of FFLAL is all the more clear and relevant, and I can't wait to go back to the battlegrounds of these young souls to share God's Good News!

Expert Knowledge Shared

Lisa Clouse spoke to over 100 girls at the

St. Mary's High School Senior Retreat.

The girls from St. Mary's also heard from FFLAL speaker Lisa Clouse, a physician's assistant. She offered an informative explanation on the dangers of contraception, the truth of abortion and an introduction to Natural Family Planning. The girls' fantastic questions revealed that their interest had been peaked.

PLEASE continue to keep FFLAL in your prayers and spread the word. One soul at time, we are making a difference!
